Sunday, June 26 Eight bikers rode from Doak School to River Plantation and back.
Saturday, June 25 Five hikers did about 21 miles in the North Carolina side of the Smokies on the Noland Divide, Noland Creek, Springhouse Branch, Forney Creek, Whiteoak and Lakeshore Trails. Many thanks to Ronnie McGaha for shuttling the van.
Wednesday, June 22 Five hikers walked on the Greenbelt in Kingsport.
Saturday, June 18 Five workers ran weedeaters and loppers on the southern part of our section of the AT while four others had worked from Round Knob to the Relo earlier in the week.

May 28-29 Four backpackers covered about seventeen miles in Cades Cove on the Rabbit Creek and Hannah Mountain Trails. They were joined on Monday by three others who dayhiked the same route in reverse.

Sunday, May 1 Six bikers rode from Hot Springs to Paint Rock and back along the beautiful French Broad River.
Saturday, April 30. Ten hikers slugged along through the mud and drizzle for twenty-one miles on the AT, Welch Ridge, Bear Creek, Forney Crek and Lakeshore Trails in the Smokies. Many thanks to Mike and Linda Jones for shuttling the vehicles and hiking in to meet the group.
Saturday, April 23. Six members of the Greeneville Hiking Club attended the Trailfest in Hot Springs, NC. Unfortunately, cold and rainy weather put a damper on the event.
Sunday, April 17. We had twenty one people on the Porter's Creek Trail in the Greenbrier section of the Smokies. This trail probably has the widest variety of wildflowers of any trail around and over forty varieties were identified.
Saturday, April 16 Eight club members hiked on the Appalachian Trail from Max Patch to Lemon Gap. Our club founder, Denise Ashworth, led this wildflower hike. We were a little early for the trilium but pring beauties covered much of the mountainside.
Sunday, April 10 Five hikers walked around the lake at Bays Mountain State Park near Kingsport.
Sunday, April 10 Six hikers accompanied thru-hiker Katrina Rogers from Tanyard Gap to Allen's Gap on the Appalachian Trail
Saturday, April 9 Four club members participated in the M-S Walk, then hiked from Tanyard Gap to Hot Springs.
Sunday, April 2 Eight hikers did an in-an-out hike on the "Lowlife Trail" from the Davis Creek Trailhead to the top of the mountain.
